Faculty Central
Faculty Central was developed in partnership with university faculty, Research and Innovation, Human Resources, the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost, the Office of Faculty Development and University Communications and Marketing. Faculty will find information pertaining to all parts of the faculty lifecycle — from onboarding to reappointment, promotion and tenure, to retirement and everything in between.
The goal of Faculty Central is to provide a one-stop-shop for faculty to find relevant information that has been historically siloed in varied websites across the university.
The Faculty Central database hinges on a robust search engine. By searching categories, tags, resources, and more, faculty can find what they need efficiently.
Faculty are encouraged to keep content up to date by providing ways to suggest a resource, report a resource, and submit an event. A governing board reviews all resources once a year to ensure all items remained accurate.
A user can find a resource through the prominent search field, through the lefthand menu, or by selecting a tagged keyword.
